Prom Style Secrets

Between her real life and her on-screen life, Debby Ryan has been to four proms: on-set proms forSuit LifeJessie, and Radio Rebel— and her own! Here, she shares the lessons she’s learned about looking and feeling your best on prom night.

1. Fit for the a Princess.

“A style that is universally flattering is a fitted bodice and a poofy tutu skirt. I think that style can be so stunning. I wore it to my sweet sixteen.”
2. Be true to you
“The most important part about picking a style is [making sure] that it reflects who you are. At my prom, there was a girl dressed up like Nicki Minaj with a wild printed dress and a blonde wig. That’s not who I am, but it’s who she is and that rocks!”
3. It’s in the details
“My favorite prom dress colors are black or cream. I like the idea of wearing black, but then putting fuschia lipstick to add color.”
4. Get Glowing
“Here’s how to make your skin glow for prom: I use Young Blood Body Tint and I mix it with regular lotion. Your skin will look great in all your prom pics and under the disco ball when you’re dancing.”
